My Favorite Sewing Supplies
Self Healing Cutting Mat
Small 28mm Rotary Cutter - excellent for cutting small lingerie pattern pieces
Sparkle pink rotary cutter I love, but less safety designed
Hard rulers for use with rotary cutter: 3”x18” Ruler 6”x24” Ruler
Narrow Flexible Ruler - excellent for placing pattern pieces on-grain, but do not use with rotary cutter!
French Curve - my favorite for pattern tracing & adjustments, this set has the shape I prefer and many other great rulers
5/8” Seam Allowance Ruler (Used to be on Amazon but can’t find anymore)
Pressing Tools: be sure to look for wool, linen, cotton - not polyester covers! You need fabric that can stand high heat and steam
Wrist Pin Cushions, there are so many options!
Sewing Machine Magnet to keep your scissors close (I love a lot of the sewing accessories from MadamSew! Not affiliated, just a fan.)
Sewing Machine Strip Light - makes a huge difference if your machine light isn’t very bright

Inexpensive Collars and Leashes to Take Apart:
X-Small Collars X-Small Leash
Small Collars Small Leashes (note, these are 5/8”, not the 1/2” we made in class)
Medium Collars Medium Leashes
Large Collars Large LeashesCat: I suggest using lightweight fusible interfacing, cut the same size as the fabric, instead of webbing as it becomes very hard to insert into the small cat buckles. For these buckles, cut your fabric width 1.5” and roughly 1.3 times the desired collar length. Fold, sew and assemble as for tutorials.

X-Small 3/8” wide with 1/2” leash: Buckles, Sliders, 1/2” Leash Clips, 3/8” Webbing, Use 12mm D-Rings
Small 1/2" wide: Buckles, Sliders, Leash Clips, Webbing, Use 15mm D-Rings
