I am a life-long maker, mostly of all things involving a needle and thread, particularly knitting, crochet, sewing, cross stitch and bargello. My grandma taught me to knit as a kid and I’ve knit most days ever since. I went on to teach knitting and crochet for many years and also worked as a technical editor for pattern designers.

While knitting will always be my first love, I’m currently making a career pivot (PIVOT! PIVOT!!!! Is Friends getting too old to reference?) to sewing, including making most of my own clothes and teaching others to as well. I love making dresses, lingerie and anything vintage inspired.
